Up early this morning, our little dog is needing some healing….we love our dog…..as we were getting her some relief I began to think of how our heavenly Father is up “early” getting us some relief…sometimes we “sense” his care and sometimes we don’t….whether we sense his loving kindness in the midst of our life or not…he is there…several scriptures come to mind reminding me of his “never leaving” love, kindness, gentleness…and faithfulness..therefore I bring this to you today…he is faithful, before you asked he has answered, and he will never leave you or forsake you…..have the best of “his” rest today….

Established……great word…it’s been going over and over in my head.

Establish…to fix, prepare, apply to stand, erect, be stable, to turn resolutely in a certain direction ( I like this one the best), steadfastly set……

As I think about the meanings of this word, I wonder, what would happen if you lived every moment of your life, fixed and stable, resolutely set in a certain direction? God’s direction? His will and purpose for your life, with NO distractions, NO side trips, every thought and action funneling into God’s direction for you? You, like Paul the Apostle would say, “I have fought a GOOD fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…..

WOW…count me in…

This morning is wonderful! My thoughts were: God is God and “in him” is no variableness or shadow of turning! Treat him as God today, trust him as God today, let him breath his “bigness” into your life and circumstances today! Someone needs the “big” God that you know.

Amazing!!! I got up today thinking of the freedom I have…before February 25, 1975 freedom was not mine….I was bound in every area of my life, addicted to things that destroyed my body, wanting to be free….. the good things I desired alluded me….powerless to change, although I desperately wanted change in my life….

then……on that day in 1975 an amazing thing happened……I quit…I surrendered…I made a decision…I gave my whole being to God…..I surrendered to his Son and he gave me his life.. for mine…an exchange….that’s when I became free….I got a new nature….”things” were different….

I remember thinking wow something is different…I began to have an insatiable hunger for God’s word…really wanting to “eat” it…so sweet to me…that was the beginning of my “new life in Christ”..since then I have worked in the local church as Sunday school director, children’s church teacher, outreach, visitation, sang in worship team,Planted and pastored the local church (which, by the way is the Hope Of The World…) missions, Bible school teacher, traveling minister, helps ministry, giver, prayer warrior, encourager, laying hands on the sick, casting out devils, going about doing good…..wow writing this down has given me some insight into some things in my life and god’s purpose for the local church and the body of Christ.

I am thinking of Paul in 1Corinthians 9..Paul is stating his authority and his freedom in the Gospel…why? Possibly to answer critics, maybe to dispel doubt in those around him, maybe to verbalize his own thoughts to encourage himself…whatever the reason he feels the need and goes on to talk about how “free” he is….

….so I am thinking about freedom…being so grateful…then I realize what a responsibility freedom carries…Paul said it this way in verse 16…necessity is laid upon me, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel…what a responsibility!!! God has set me “free” , why, to do His works….he goes on to say, that I abuse not my power in the gospel….for though I am free from all men, I have made myself servant to all, that I might gain more…

We are all in the race those of you who have surrendered your life to Christ,…..run so that you may obtain the prize…we must be temperate in all things…we must keep under our bodies bringing them into subjection:…so that after we have preached to others we should not be a castaway…or let’s say “put aside”….continue in Him, do not weary in doing good, you will reap if you do not faint!!!

The Plan

The Plan Has Never Changed!!! What a line…. spoken to my heart at a very critical time in my life. What do you mean, “the plan has never changed?”

All the circumstances had changed, the “main” player had gone on. What in the world was going to happen to the children and I?

This similar situation may be going on in your life right now! Be assured life is not over. The blessed life is not over. God is and has been working in your favor! The Plan has never changed!

Philippians 1:6…being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

This is a promise to you and your family! Regardless of the circumstances that surround you and yours, God is faithful and a God of the finish. He will finish what he has begun!

….you can be confident…trusting, fully assured

…you didn’t begin the work, HE did

…it is a GOOD WORK

…HE will complete it…accomplish, finish

Live out the rest of your life, confident, fully trusting that God will complete what HE has started!!!

This is the beginning of the rest of your life. Today we are going to find out how we can make the most of the FIRST day of the rest of your life!! These are my two grandchildren. They remind me of the value of life. TODAY! Amazing when I look at this picture how my heart is turned to God’s goodness and protecting love. There is not anything I wouldn’t do for these kids. As I think about that I am reminded, ” there is not anything,God, your Father, has not done for you! He used ALL his power to give you EVERYTHING. What a thought. I want you to think about every good thing that you have in your life. I realize in the heat of the battle this is difficult. As you are still you will hear the promptings of the Holy Spirit and he will remind you of his goodness to you. WRITE these thoughts down! They are important. They are your life TODAY! Rehearse them over and over, hang on to them, cling to every good thing that comes to your mind. Remember “GOD IS GOOD” to you TODAY!

FOLLOW YOUR HEART, GOD IS CALLING YOU OUT OF THE OLD FAMILIAR PLACES. THERE ARE DIVINE APPOINTMENTS FOR YOU TODAY. TAKE YOUR PLACE AND GET WHAT IS YOURS!
There is no want to those who fear the Lord…..TODAY…is the day to fear the Lord.
Goodmorning my friends, I am loving the scripture in Hebrews 11:1…now faith is the substance of things HOPED for…I have been caught on this phrase for sometime now and thought you would be as encouraged as I have been. I have concentrated primarily in the part that says…now faith is the substance… let’s add another part of the scripture…now faith is the substance of things HOPED for……we must not lose our hope. Faith is the substance of things we HOPE for. The things we hope for is like a target. The bullseye so to speak. Let’s keep our hopes up and high. God is able and willing and when we release our faith…which is actual substance …towards the target…HOPED for…we can be assured of the promise. This is a great thought and I know it will bless you as well. Have a great day….for God is working in you to bring about his will.
